Most of the websites these days look the same. Of course, some may have a great design, unique color schemes and logos but most of them are just “standard” websites. A wonderful way to make your website stand out from the crowd is to create an interactive design with great illustrated elements. Great illustrations and good choice of sounds and music, the ZZZ Drink campaign website is a great source of inspiration for all web designers.

Quakequiz

The site features an interactive quiz that places the user in six different earthquake scenarios — at home, on the beach, in the car, at work, and at a restaurant. When each scenario begins, the screen shakes, and a question with three possible answers appears on the screen.  The website is very intuitive and the animations add a bit of a cool factor to learning about disaster preparedness.

This is a portfolio website owned and created by Alex Buga, a Romanian musician and web/graphic designer. The website is fun and has great colors and illustrations that clearly show his advanced design skills.

A fun way to display your services, Pieoneers website has an abundance of great quality illustrations which create an interactive and unique design. The creators of the website proved that you can design a professional website that will stand out from the crowd following a more fun path rather than using the usual rigid and boring business website layouts.

This is another portfolio website owned by Joe Lifrieri, a graphic designer and illustrator from New York City.  The design is remarkable because of the original and unique illustrations which clearly show the advanced skills of the visual artist. Also, it represents a very good example on how to use texture in web design.

La Pera Limonera is a web design and development company in Barcelona, Spain. The website is very simple but has fun and good quality illustrations which make it unique. The use of vibrant colors have a strong impact on the user and creates a fresh and fun atmosphere.
