Twitter is hitting the internet by storm. They have an insane API, that developers can connect to and perform actions / grab data. This encourages people to make twitter applications weather its for the web, computers or phones. I have put together a nice list of logos that revolve around twitter. Some of them being applications available for download / use on the internet and some of them being parody’s or web startups you can buy.

Twitters logo isnt actually the bird though… the bird is twitteriffic’s by icon factory (http://iconfactory.com/software/twitterrific) and it was the first twitter integration program and therefore the logo has stuck
Andy (2 years ago)
Wow, so IconFactory actually invented the blue bird
twe4ked (2 years ago)
No, the twitter bird came from there being a bird icon on the homepage that was brought off a stock site.

Actually at the time of Twitterrific’s release, Twitter was not using that bird on it’s website, it simply had the logotype “Twitter”. Ollie the blue bird was first

A post from May 2007 that outlines the process by which Twitterrific’s blue bird was adopted across the entire Twitter spectrum can be found at my blog. At the time of this writing, Twitterrific had already been out for 5 months.
