Our Favourite 20 Customized Premium Wordpress Themes
Posted on 25. Jun, 2009 by Web Design in Roundups
Hello Everyone,
There are many websites online premium Wordpress themes for sale, such as Woothemes, Themeforest and Ultimate Blogging Theme. People can purchase themes, and edit them to make it fit around their site’s niche. Today Andy and I have put together a list of our favourite 20 great Wordpress theme edits.
The big issue everyone has with buying a premium wordpress theme is “I don’t want my blog to look like anyone else’s”. I feel the exact same but the benefits of buying a premium themes make it a great decision. For example, most themes come with multiple colour palettes so that if your mate has a green version, you can just change it to a bunch of other colours. Another benefit we found great is that it’s great if you want to quickly monetize a blog because they all come widget ready and include options to quickly add, edit and delete adverts for your blog. If you take a look at IncomeDiary which is another blog I own, it runs the same theme as this site but they look very different, for those who wondered, we use the BusyBee theme from Woothemes for that site. Apart from that the other obvious benefit is its a cheap way to get a highly performing and well design blog theme, you would have to pay thousands of dollars for each one of these if you went else where.
The one issue I had with personalising my theme was getting a logo design. I know we don’t need to have a professional logo but I’m one of those people who like perfection. If you want edits done to your blog or to get a logo designed I recommend a variety of websites including 99Designs, Sitepoint, DigitalPoint and TalkFreeLance!

Yeah, it’s a cool list, but still looks more like an advertise for woothemes.
ThemeForest has a lot of great premium themes as well.

Wow, some of those are really good. I’m really shocked by some of the Thesis users. Although, I must say that I didn’t see any Convergence theme users and I’ve seen a lot of great designs that have sprung up using that Theme Forest theme.

Nice blog. I knew I recognized BusyBee! It’s one of my favorite themes. I’m planning on using BusyBee with some tweaks for my next corporate website design.
I’m also using WooThemes (THiCK) for my blog (which I’m stil developing).

Nice list. Some themes are really good.
I generally try to design using free themes. 2 reasons for that.
1. They are free
2. They are light and are easy to customize

With so many themes available for free, I think often what can be then on premium themes? One way or other, they are very cheap too, nice picks!
